Digital technology-based cost management changes is a future technology opportunity that the service industries should take advantage of. The technology entails making the change solid on cost management and other digital platforms (Li et al., 2018). During the transition, the technology brings about transformations where the changes are implemented, building corporations’ workers are likely to revert to their old ways of cost analysis and management. Research on the technology shows that it is an easy one to implement as it complements almost every other technology. This is because the technology requires easy and manageable transactions and information flows; material and financial systems, and support systems for running the business and management; external and internal integration.
To avoid reverting to the old ways by the building corporations’ workers it is recommended to carry out interim evaluations and make appropriate arrangement and monitor them while making adjustments on necessary cost management areas (Samani et al., 2017). Through this, the building corporations’ workers will not turn back since they understand why implementing these changes is important. Furthermore, they will act according to the new situations since they will have understood the advantages of the digital change.
Building on research conducted on this technology, use of the technology in architecture could have some impacts on the way they generally think about themselves in relation to the way that they tackle building and construction. This is because the change mainly entails the gap that exists in terms of access and usage of information technology. The change is more of a form of inequality between those that have more or less access and skills in regard to information technology. Therefore those with more access would perceive themselves to be better than those with less access and vice versa. The technology directly influences the architecture industry (Liu et al., 2017). Building on the cultivation theory, it is evident that people are influenced by the technology in the sense that most people change their perspectives as a result of the effects of media personalities they watch or see on building platforms.
Among the different technologies theories that have been discussed in the text, the theory that that most accurately portrays most people’s digital technology cost management experiences is the cultivation theory (Guo et al., 2017). This theory falls under the construction theories. The reason why this theory is most appropriate is that some of the things that most students enjoy doing most with their friends are watching and socializing on the different digital technology-based cost management of prefabricated building platforms. After spending long hours on these platforms, they begin feeling digital technology-based cost management of prefabricated building effects such as a change in behavior and their lifestyle as well as a change in building performance.
It is important to note that there are a number of barriers that exist and make it difficult to close the digital divide gap among these professionals. Lack of sufficient digital services and infrastructure is one of these challenges. In addition to this, in most prefabricated buildings institutions the lack of the required digital skills to add value even when individuals have access to digital infrastructure has made it difficult to bridge the gap of digital divide. In developed prefabricated buildings institutions, there also exist challenges that limit the bridging of the digital divide gap (Kim et al., 2013). Cost of the barrier is one of these barriers. The costs of eliminating the barriers of the digital divide are too high hence limiting the successful elimination of the gap. Failure to adopt new technologies in prefabricated buildings institutions is another barrier that has made it difficult to close the digital divide. Prefabricated buildings on the other hand are an issue of the digital divide is yet another barrier.
The negative effect is brought about by wastage of financial resources on the various web platforms such as digital technology-based cost management of prefabricated building instead of in their books and hence no value is added to their buildings and hence the decline in their performance and the general negative impact on the system. As a result, better settings and web management tactics should be developed. Developing a way in which such sites can be restricted should be upheld. It is also important to license the web users in addition to ethical rules. As much as age is the main factor that should be minded to restrict, programmers should try as much as possible to uplift their limit to restricting the content they upload on the web sites in the future altogether. Legal and ethical restriction should be upheld and legal and ethical consequences should be enacted. The architecture companies should therefore be greatly involved in protecting people from the effects that are associated with technology. This can be done by the government formulating and setting laws that will govern the different ways in which media operates (Lu et al., 2014). Prefabricated buildings institutions that will be responsible for providing adequate media education should also be established by the government.
